This Kitchen Center Island was designed by the craftsmen at Annapolis Maritime Antiques. This stunning piece combines cypress, maple, and poplar woods built custom cabinetry with an 80-year-old WWII Liberty Ship hatch cover top with steel bands. This configuration features two drawers with automatic soft European closing slides, two storage bays accessed by two hinged doors containing two shelves each, and open shelving on the right side of the piece.
The top is stained in a Old Masters "Provincial" color with multiple coat, satin, final finish. The base is a semi-gloss Oceanus (Blue/Green/Gray). Complementing brushed nickel drawer pulls have been added. It comes complete with brass plate with commissioning date, name of ship, and separate certificate of authenticity.
